Box is strung on silk cording with antique bone beads, new jade turtles, antique sterling silver rectangles, carved african jade flat beads, with wood and bone trade beads with a sterling silver barril clasp. This is a traditional Japanese Inro that is worn on the belt or sash. It is carved out of satin wood with carved bone frog insets on both sides the bone is scrimshawed and inked in color with a satinwood button with a scrimshawed frog on bone inset. Lid on inro box held closed by a carved bone 8mm bead.
